Anne Tolland
I have just arrived as Director of Mission Development – a new role focusing on spiritual formation and mission focus of the congregation. Through outreach, in meeting the needs of our neighbouring community, we seek to become a witness of Christian love by ‘Working together to follow Christ in joyfully serving our neighbours’
I have been an ordained Presbyterian minister for the past 25 years, working within the Presbyterian Church in Ireland as a minister in rural, urban and town settings.
I graduated from Queens University Belfast Northern Ireland with BSc(Hons) in Microbiology and Genetics before gaining my Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
I then began training for the ministry, attending New College, University of Edinburgh, Scotland and graduating with BD (Hons) in New Testament and Church History and MTh in Ecclesiastical History.
My Dad was a Presbyterian Minister and I have been involved in the Presbyterian Church all my life. In 2006 I had the opportunity to do a summer exchange with Steele Creek Presbyterian Church and since then I have a been a regular visitor to the church.
My brother Andrew, his wife Laura and my two nieces – Rebecca and Naomi – are still in Northern Ireland so I will not lose my accent but I am very much looking forward to being part of the congregation and the work and witness in this community.
