Chris comes after serving ten years as Director of Music Ministries and Christian Education at Holy Trinity Lutheran in Gastonia. He received his theological education from Lenoir-Rhyne University and Gardner-Webb University School of Divinity. In May, he will complete his Doctor of Ministry from the McAfee School of Theology, where he has been focusing on mission and community development. He is an ordained minister affiliated with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and has a second MBA in Nonprofit Administration.

When not spending time with his spouse and daughter, he is an avid reader, music nerd, and loves getting to know people in his local community.
